It may be your professor alone reading but just the same, your essay should be understandable. Keep in mind that you express what's on your mind.  Thus, it is important that you get your message clearly.
Writing essay is inevitable particularly to students.  It is an advantage that you know about the basic information regarding essays.  The three basic parts of an essay are the introduction, body  and conclusion.
The Introduction.  The topic or thesis statement is stated on the first paragraph. This is the part where you invite reader's attention and capture their interest.  State what should be expected of your essay. Tell  what the essay is all about and what is in it for the readers. Brifely explain the importance of your topic.
The Body. Coherence is the key in writing an effective essay  body. These paragraphs let you expand
more on the idea that you previously noted in the introduction. An outline is very helpful  as it aids the writer in organizing his thoughts.  Points should be discussed separately per paragraph.   It has to be   supported with facts, examples or  data you have gathered from research.  Note that ideas are better understood when they flow smoothly.
The Conclusion.   You may now proceed to the last paragraph once you have already established the main idea of your essay  in the body.  You tie up or summarize the points you have then come up with a conclusion.  Give your insights based on the ideas you have developed.  Stress and go back again on the importance of your topic.
Writing essay  becomes easier with constant practice. Even the best  writers began from scratch.  Use the three basic parts of an essay as your guide.  You'll see, it's a good start.
